Facial Rejuvenation
is the term most widely associated with surgical
and non-surgical procedures for restoring a youthful
facial appearance damaged
by the sun and genetic factors associated with age.
A rhytidectomy (or
facelift) rejuvenates
the forehead, the eyes, the cheeks, and the sagging
skin around the neck and chin. It is considered the
most effective procedure for total facial restoration.
Non-surgical techniques
for facial rejuvenation include;
botox injections to smooth out facial wrinkles on the
forehead, the eyes, and laughlines around the mouth,
microdermabrasion treatments to gently smooth out fine
lines and to clean the skin, the laser and chemical
peels to gently remove old layers of skin as well as
collagen injections and fat graphs.
Facial
Refinement is most commonly associated with those
plastic surgery procedures that target specific areas
of the face including the nose (Rhinoplasty), the eyes,
the neck and the ears.
A nose
job (Rhinoplasty) procedure might be considered
to address cosmetic appearances caused by a drooping
nasal tip or enlarged nostrils, or to correct breathing
problems or appearances altered by trauma to the nose.
Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) can remove excess fat
on the eyelids and a brow lift can help you look younger
by lifting excess skin resulting in a more youthful
appearance.
